1. Registration and Personal Data
Placing an order in the online store does not require registration. By registering, you can make future purchases faster and review your previous orders. Your email address will serve as your username, and the password is set during registration. The username and password are personal. The customer is responsible for keeping the credentials safe and ensuring they are not disclosed or accessed by third parties. The customer is liable for all actions and possible costs arising from the use of their credentials.
Customers must provide the necessary information required for using the service. The seller has the right to process customer data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and other applicable laws. Customer data is stored in the online store’s customer register. The seller will not share customer data with third parties for direct marketing, distance selling, or other similar marketing purposes. Customer data will be removed when no longer needed.
2. Ordering
Products are primarily ordered online at vierema.cpu.fi using the shopping cart. All orders are confirmed via email, stating the total price and ordered items. To receive a confirmation email, the customer must provide a valid email address during ordering. Each order is subject to the terms and conditions in effect at the time of ordering, as well as any specific conditions for the ordered product.
3. Payment Methods
Products are paid at the time of ordering. Online payment is conducted through a secure connection via the Suomi.fi Payment Service. The service includes online banking of Finnish banks, Nets Oy card payment services (Visa and MasterCard), and MobilePay.
4. Prices and VAT
The valid price is the one displayed in the online store at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to change prices. All prices are in euros (EUR) and include the applicable VAT.
5. Delivery Time and Method
Products can be picked up from the information desk at Vieremä municipal hall after placing the order: Myllyjärventie 1, 74200 Vieremä.
The information desk is open on weekdays from 8:00 to 15:00. Opening hours may vary during school holidays.
6. Returns and Exchanges
Customers have the right to return or exchange products within 14 days under Finnish Consumer Protection Law. Returns made after 14 days will not be accepted. Returned or exchanged items and their original packaging must be in the same condition as received. The customer is responsible for the costs of return or exchange unless the reason is a clear error by the seller.
All returns must be agreed upon in advance with the seller. Please contact the seller before returning any products.
7. Service Maintenance, Availability, and Errors
The seller strives to keep the online store running smoothly and without interruptions. The seller may temporarily suspend the store for modifications, updates, technical reasons, or due to maintenance of telecommunications networks, as required by law or regulatory actions. Outages will be timed to minimize inconvenience to customers.
The seller is not responsible for disruptions caused by third-party network or telecommunication service providers. Nor is the seller liable for errors resulting from the customer’s misuse or violation of instructions.
8. Data Security
The online store is protected using SSL protocol. The customer is responsible for ensuring the security of their own information systems. All customer-related or submitted data is kept confidential. The seller ensures the data security of the store using generally accepted methods and appropriate technical solutions to prevent unauthorized access.
9. Devices, Software, and Connections
The customer is responsible for acquiring the necessary devices, software, and internet connections to use the online store, as well as the related functionality and costs. These must not cause disruption or harm to the store or other users.
10. Liability for Damages
The seller is liable only for direct damages caused by their breach of contract due to negligence. If the seller’s error is confirmed, costs wrongfully charged through the online store may be refunded.
The seller is not liable for any indirect or direct damages or compensations resulting from the issues mentioned in section 6.
11. Force Majeure
Force majeure releases the seller from obligations under the online store if it prevents or unreasonably hinders performance. Force majeure includes fire, earthquake, flood, explosion, strike or labor stoppage, authority orders, power outages, shortage of raw materials, or any telecommunications disruption caused by external parties or other unforeseeable events. The seller will inform customers of such events on the website as soon as possible.
12. Changes to Terms and Conditions
The seller has the right to change these terms and conditions by announcing the changes in the online store in good time before they take effect.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will primarily be resolved through mutual negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the matter will be settled in a Finnish district court under Finnish law.
